The goals of this program are many, but the main goals are to connect students with older adults, to, in part, help combat ageism and show that both younger and older people have something in common, and can learn from each other. The program has been very successful in Psychology. However, the program is necessarily small because we do not have a lot of access to the necessary resources.	View

Monica will greet everyone with a sign in and ask everyone to watch a short safety video if did not watch prior to meeting. Everyone is required to watch the video and sign the form of understanding. Each person will have a vest to wear and can wear optional gloves to pick up items and place in a garbage bag. Filled bags will be left at the edge of Lake Michigan Drive. Carlos will be available to deliver each volunteer to their start location and pick up to return to Peppinos. Optional to park across the street from GVSU.
